Mr. Rene Kiamba is currently the Manager for the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies Contributions Fund for the Sub-Sahara Africa region. He manages the programs and initiatives that are supported by the fund in the region. The company supports major programs in South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Cameroon and Zambia among other countries.
CAREER AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Rene describes himself as a servant-leader with strong skills as a communicator, self-starter, organizer, motivator, creative team-player, problem-solver and trainer.
Since his graduation in 1979, he has had a successful career holding growing positions of responsibilities in sales, marketing and general management in different fast moving consumer goods companies dealing with soft drinks, agricultural chemicals, health and beauty products, alcoholic beverages, e-banking, security and also undertaken independent consultancy work.
During this time, he has worked with Coca-Cola Africa, Ciba-Geigy, 2 times with the commercial side of Johnson & Johnson, Kenya Breweries, the Marketing Society of Kenya, African Lakes Technologies and Patriotic Security Group.
OTHER LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
- Chairman of the Marketing Society of Kenya from March 2001 to March 2003.
- Involved in several Christian ministries, and in mentoring and coaching.
